In honor of Shakespeare’s impressive portfolio (approximately 4 poems, 38 plays, and 154 sonnets that we know of,) you can have a chance at winning a copy of Doctor Who: The Shakespeare Notebooks by posting your own Doctor Who-related poem/haiku/limerick/etc.
About four months ago, I wrote a couple of Doctor Who related sonnets. One was about the Doctor, the other (written from the Doctor’s point of view) about River Song. I started messing around with gimp (an image editing program) recently, and decided to combine the two.
When I wrote the sonnet about the Doctor, I hadn’t given it a title. Here, it has the honorary title of ‘Theta Sigma’, typed in none other but a Circular Gallifreyan font.
The sonnet (on it’s own) can also be found here.
